Photography is a lifestyle, you eat, sleep and drink it and you are consumed by it. My philosophy is to approach each shoot with respect and with love. Whilst not entirely purist, I do hold belief in that the images I produce must be technically sound. Lighting, exposure and composition must all combine to give life to my images. Photoshop and other image manipulating software are great tools,but it is the shot in the lens that counts.

The majority of images in this gallery are presented as they were shot through the lens. Processing of the images extends to adjusting contrast, brightness and sharpening of digital images. Research, planning and understanding are all critical to a successful result.

I use multiple media to capture images covering 35mm, medium format and digital camera equipment. Images are captured on location or created in studio. Lighting techniques make use of a combination of natural, ambient and flash.
